Shadows Beneath the Earth
Schatzheim is a small mining town of about 2000 people. It is mostly human, though as with any mining town there is a sizable dwarven minority. It is nestled in the foothills of the Ravenspeak mountains, which form a natural barrier along the north and west. The southern edge of the town is bordered by the banks of the Golden Wash, a river that runs down from the mountains and flows to the south east. The vulnerable eastern edge of the town is protected by a great stone wall, known as Hadderly’s Pass.
